Well unfortunately there's been some unfortunate things going on recently that have kept me from writing for the Soul of Rock 'n' Roll... a shame, a definite shame, but this month I'm hoping to get back to working on this this month... cheers all around.

The Soul of Rock 'n' Roll is officially taking a hiatus for the month of February 2010.

Unfortunately real life has been intruding on the Soul of Rock 'n' Roll a little too much this month, so it seems best to take the month off and regroup. This month's carnival will be extended and what would have been this month's feature will run next month.

Hello everyone, early 2010 is proving to be a busy time here at the Soul of Rock 'n' Roll.

New content is on the way, no worries. I was planning a really great new Rock and Roll feature too, but in writing it I decided that I really wanted to do a little more research and make sure I did it right. It is taking longer than expected though, so I've decided to postpone it until next month.

Just want to wish everyone out there in Internet-land a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Yes it's true!

After two long months of development, trial and error, divine intervention, cosmic events and other such catastrophes, the Soul of Rock 'n' Roll has returned, and is better than ever before.

Unfortunately the redesign and site updates that were started at the beginning of last month have proved more extensive than first anticipated and are not yet completed. I want to focus my efforts on this redesign and deployment as much as possible, so I am once again making some postponements.

Just a quick update about the Carnival of Rock 'n' Roll this month, the Featured album, and the state of the Soul of Rock 'n' Roll.

This month's carnival has officially been postponed until next month. It should run promptly on October 1st 2009. The time for submissions has also been extended to the end of September, so please check out http://blogcarnival.com/bc/ and you can submit new material for this now upcoming carnival.
